How can I improve this prolouge of diary entries?

It is certainly a good start and really interesting. I am not sure if I like the fact that it is all diary entries and no real action. Also, it is not just one diary entry but numerous ones. I wonder if you could just use the first diary entry as your prologue, because that was very good, and then spread out the rest throughout live action in your story. But I personally think this is a good start.
