Hostage/Kidnapped movie?

Is about a Iraqi, or somewhere in the middle east guy where he is working in the US (then has to leave to iraq, (maybe dont remember), and then he takes his wife with him(Iraq, so i think.Not sure) and he does not let her return to the US, and he beats her afterward when they are there, and she tries to return to the US but she cant because their law is that no women are not suppose to travel (i think that is why)...in the end she gets a ride from a friend to i do not remember, so she finally arrives in the US and end of movie....????
