Great Gatsby thesis statement?

I need a thesis. I have my points and topic but can't really work up a godd thesis. My topic is: What does fitzgerald want us to learn through his use of the clour green. I know that the colour green represents hope and daisy buchanan, but can't really create a good thesis statement.
