Does anyone have any proof for the theory of evolution, seeing as Darwin himself renounced it before death?

First, from the question, Darwin never renounced his hypothesis (it was not yet a theory) before he died. Second, creationism in any of its form is a scientific 'theory'. The word 'theory' in science has a very specific meaning. A theory is a well corroborated explanation for a phenomenon. The only thing that is more rock solid true in science would be a law. Creationism is simply a statement of faith. It can't be proven, but more importantly it can't be falsified. There is nothing to test because it makes no predictions that can be tested. Evolution is tested every day. The mere fact that the ratios of genes in the population is constantly in a state of flux, has never been stable, and will continue to be in flux tomorrow and in the future is as lawful as the predicted continuing rotation of the earth so that the sun will come up tomorrow.
